Reiki & Yoga Offerings

My role as a reiki practitioner is to guide the flow of healthy life force energy through the body using light, hands-on touch. This movement of energy supports our body’s natural healing abilities and generally encourages stress reduction, emotional release and balance, and relaxation. Experiences and sensations during reiki vary, as all individuals receive energy differently. Rest assured that the energy flows where it has been invited and is needed most, even if the effects of this movement are not consciously or immediately felt.

Yoga's rich origins are in spiritual practice, while its approach and benefits reach mind, body, and soul. Yoga sessions generally incorporate a combination of physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and meditative practice (dyana). These elements represent three of the eight limbs of yoga and are integral to the Hatha and Sivananda style of yoga sessions I lead. It is imperative to me that yoga offerings are inclusive and accessible to all and this is a hallmark of my teaching philosophy.

Please keep in mind: There are many documented benefits of a regular yoga and reiki practice. That said, energy healing systems are part of holistic options and are not a substitute for medical care, advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Distance Reiki
In alignment with an understanding that we are all connected and we are all made of energy, distance reiki sessions allow the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient to send healing energy. You do not need to coordinate timing or be in stillness during the session. As long as you are open to receiving it, the energy will travel. Requires first name, a digital photo, and any specific reasons for pursuing energy work on this occasion.
